ABOUT REDSILK MEDIA

Redsilk Media wasn't a name chosen by chance. We wanted something that resonated with us, Vietnamese culture and, by extension, that of Asia.

Most of all, we wanted a name that embodied our passion for Marketing.

ABOUT RED SILK MEDIA

Red Thread in Marketing

The red thread is an essential element of marketing. It's a concept focusing on having an underlying theme throughout your brand's communications.

From positioning and strategy to execution, everything has to be harmoniously interconnected.

Without a symbolic red thread holding your marketing communications and business activities together, your customers will feel disoriented and indifferent to your efforts.

Recognising your brand's unique red thread and carrying it through all your interactions with your customers is where you can help you.

Red Silk in Vietnam

We wanted our brand's name to pay homage to our host country. And so, we brainstormed about the many beautiful crafts and products of Vietnam's rich heritage.

We chose silk because we felt it represents Vietnam perfectly. Also known as the 'Queen of fibres', silk is extremely strong and resilient, just like the spirit and character of the Vietnamese people.

And, of course, the colour red is a symbol of happiness, celebration, and good luck in Vietnamese culture.

For us, the colour red represents the burst of positive energy and opportunities that we want to infuse into your business.

Red Thread of Fate

Rooted in Chinese mythology, the legend of the

Red Thread of Fate appears in many Eastern cultures.

The story takes regional variants, but the meaning is the same: an invisible red thread connects those destined to meet and be together.

The thread may stretch or tangle, but it never breaks.

As such, it symbolises fate, union, marriage, and partnership.

As a metaphor, we believe the universe brought us together. Perhaps we found you or you discovered us. Perhaps someone introduced us, or maybe we met at an event.

Whatever the circumstances that connected us, we believe that each step along the way led us to this moment, to this opportunity of working together.

KAROLINE FÆSTER

What/who makes you laugh the most?

Steve Carrell… he can make me cry with laughter! But luckily my husband, family and friends do a pretty good job too.

What motivates you to work hard?

I love when I can see that my work really makes a difference and then see that difference turning into growth. I’m also a very competitive person, so for me there is no better feeling than reaching a goal.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

No doubt, Jennifer Lawrence! She is an amazing actress + she is super funny, I would love to share a bottle of wine with her over the script!

MICHELA BALLARIN

What/who makes you laugh the most?

Ricky Gervais. He embodies everything I love about British humour.
If you blink, you may miss the joke. He's the kind of comedian that keeps you on your toes throughout the performance.

What motivates you to work hard?

Results. Seeing how my advice makes an impact on someone's business, and ultimately their life, not only motivates me but also brings me great joy.

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

Chelsea Peretti. She played Gina Linetti in the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, one of my favourite TV characters.
